Services

The facility agrees to provide following services:

1. Apartment with linens, bed, night stands, dresser, chair and bath.  Residents may furnish these items if they wish.

2. 24 - hour nursing assistant staff to provide the personal care services identified in each Resident Service Plan.

3. Three meals per day plus available snacks.

4. Special diets are limited to no concentrated sweets and low salt.

5. Weekly light housekeeping.

6. Weekly flat linens - sheets and towels.

7. Weekly laundry of personal clothing or access to laundry facilities.

8. Planned social activities.

9. Emergency call system.

10. Building and grounds maintenance including garbage and pest control.

11. All utilities.

12. Local phone service accessibility.  Phone service in your apartment is the responsibility of the resident.

13. Basic cable TV.  The television is not provided.

14. Access to on site Beauty/Barber Shop.  Charges are the responsibility of the resident.

15. Short term illiness support.

16. Use of all common areas.

17. Transportation services are available for local appointments and shopping trips designated on the activities calendar.  Escort service will be provided as necessary to facilitate resident safety.  Escorts will be advised of protocols in an emergency situation.

Distances over 50 miles will incur a charge.  For appointments beyond 50 miles, mileage will be charged at the current rate established by the Board of Directors.

18. Medication administration.  Demonstrated competency along with a physician recommendation, allows for self-administration of medications if medications are secured in a locked box or resident's apartment door is locked when not in residence.

19. Basic room supplies to include: toilet paper, facial tissue, bath soap, shampoo, denture cleaner and toothbrushes.  If you desire varieties other than those supplied by the facility, the resident is responsible for the cost.
